Crop Progress Update – 11/15/21
According to the USDA, corn and soybean harvest progress each finished equal to analyst expectations during the week ending Nov 14th.
Corn:
Corn harvest progress as of the week ending Nov 14th was 91% complete, finishing behind last year’s pace of 94% completed but remaining ahead of the five year average pace of 86% completed. Corn harvest progress finished equal to analyst expectations.
An additional seven percent of the total U.S. corn crop was harvested during the week ending Nov 14th. Weekly increases in corn harvest on a percentage basis were led by Wyoming, followed by New Mexico and Michigan.
Soybeans:
Soybean harvest progress as of the week ending Nov 14th was 92% complete, finishing behind last year’s pace of 95% completed and the five year average pace of 93% completed. Soybean harvest progress finished equal to analyst expectations.
An additional five percent of the total U.S. soybean crop was harvested during the week ending Nov 14th. Weekly increases in soybean harvest on a percentage basis were led by Delaware, followed by New Jersey.
